Am I in the Friend Zone?

3 min 13 questions 4 possible results New

You're already friends. You know their lunch order, their worst class, and what they're like at 11pm in the group chat. What you don't know is whether they have ever thought about you the other way.

This quiz looks at thirteen things your friend actually does: who they sit next to, what happens when you mention someone else, how they introduce you. It reads those as signals. It's about their behavior, not your feelings, because your feelings you already know.

About three minutes, nothing saved, no sign-up. There are four possible answers, and every one of them still has a friendship worth keeping in it.

Questions people ask

How accurate is this quiz?

It reads signals, and signals can be wrong. Some people are this warm with everyone, and some people like someone and hide it perfectly. The quiz only sees what you tell it about how your friend acts. It can't read their mind, and neither can anyone else. The only sure way to know is to ask them, kindly, and be ready to hear either answer.

Is being in the friend zone a bad thing?

No. The phrase makes friendship sound like a waiting room, and it isn't one. Nobody owes anyone a crush back, and a friend who likes you, trusts you and wants you around is a good outcome, not a consolation prize. If you like them and they don't feel the same, that hurts, and it still says nothing about what you're worth.

I got More Than Friends. Should I tell them?

Only if you want to, and only when it feels right. A low-pressure start is asking them to do something one-on-one and seeing how it goes, or just saying it in one simple sentence. Don't do it in front of the group, and don't make the friendship the price of a no. If they say they'd rather stay friends, believe them.

How is it scored?

Each answer is one vote for one of the four results, and the result with the most votes wins. Nothing is weighted. If two results tie, the quiz goes with the more cautious one, because guessing too high is the more expensive mistake.
