You want to be close to your people and left alone by everyone else, and you are prepared to be quite loud about the second half. You do not have much appetite for activity, but you have an enormous amount of persistence, and anyone who has watched you refuse to drop something knows the difference. Your loyalties are narrow, warm and permanent. Your patience with anything outside them is thin and you have never seen a reason to hide that.

What gets you into trouble is that suspicion is cheap and you spend it freely. You take a position on a person early, you defend it out of proportion to the evidence, and being contradicted only makes you dig. From inside it feels like discernment. From outside it looks like a wall going up around a very small group of people, which is a lonely thing to build slowly. You do not have to become trusting to fix this — you only have to let the first impression be provisional for a week.
